Instead of doing it backwards by giving expertise that no one is too much interesting in, you have to find out what people want to know more about, find what your competition is doing for that problem and create a better solution your way, deliver it in a easier format and overdeliver, putting yourself in the position as the go to person in your niche, create a blog around it and update regularly and combine it with Twitter/ Facebook.
